Many people who love to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, may have this question. The Duration to climb Kilimanjaro from the gate to the summit, and descend down takes from 5 days to 9 days. However, how long to hike Kilimanjaro varies depending on a particular trail, and the fitness of the climber. There are several Kilimanjaro trails, that lead hikers to the summit, and are also known as Kilimanjaro routes. Furthermore, the fitness of the climbers is counted in terms of climbing experience, beginner climbers, etc
